Cutting up rubber balls and putting them in boxes. I don't even think you remember that.
Considering that career project is due tomorrow, I say my horoscope for today can't get any lamer. "It's a perfect lazy day -- as long as you can afford to do nothing, that is! Anything essential takes nine times longer than usual, so if you can put anything off, you are much better off doing so."
LAME. Thanks for promoting procrastination, Yahoo.
On another subject, Aloha was hella fun. (: I really couldn't hear anything when the dance was over HAHA. So my mom got mad cause she was talking to me about some random college stuff in the car but I didn't hear her cause I wasn't listening AND the ringing in my ears overrode her talking. So I heard muttering until she punched me. It's what I get for our class always always always going in front of the speakers. -_- Teehee I love us, though! :D And the DJ was actually pretty good this time. (: (Mainly cause he played 'Satisfaction' two times ehehe. :D)
But now I have to wait three months and a half till Hello. x) So that gives me three months and a half to convince these losers to go to a dance. :D
I should be at MUN banquet right now. ): But I don't have the money and I don't have the time and I really don't have the will. ): Sorry Frankie and Tiff. D:
Ehh. Friday -> weekend -> Tustin conference -> swim meet -> no time for homework -> late night up. ): I don't like this weekeeend. D:
Tustin conference was today, so that's over with. That's so much stress I got rid of. (: And I'm happy with the result. I did better than Costa Rica! :D And TiffanyChen fell in love with Singapore next to me. And I thought Iraq was cute. (: Even Isaac agreed! :D I didn't like our Spain and I DEFINITELY didn't like Costa-freaking-Rica. I liked Kenya, and the US was pretty tight. (: But our committee failed, with no resolution passed. -__- HAHA Cuba and Chilaaay's resolution was complete BS. But I think it was the closest one to passing, since it was last. Whaaatever. My mom's pretty happy. (:
But for me, good things don't come in two. So that means I'll do bad at meet. But it's okay! That's how I planned it to be. (: Conference would be good, meet would be okayish/bad/whatever. I do want to do good, though. But so many things could go wrong and I just start stressing when I think about them. D: My goggles could so totally fall off like they always do, my cap could fall off D: (it's never happened to me, but happened for so many other people; more the reason to worrrry), I could completely screw up on my dive and flop, I could forget to touch the wall with two hands, I could do so many wrong thingsss. But I guess getting anxious about it won't do me much good, so I'll just tell myself I'm going to completely fail. (: Then when I don't, it'll feel like a success. :D
I have a beautiful plaquard! :D I should start collecting those.
I should post up a Christmas wishlist. I'll do it next post. (: You guys post up yours, too! I need to go shopping pretty soooon.
I think my promise to myself is working. (: I still really, really love school. And I know most people think I'm crazy, since I complain about staying up late and MUN and all these tests and MUN and my grades dropping and MUfreakingN, but still. I love school. (: Ahha I sound like a nerd, don't I. Who caaares.
But if there was one thing that makes my school life so much worse, it's MUN. I know I've hated on it before, but it's just. I don't know. I just hate it. I don't think I'm cut out for it. I'm not the type of person to hardball and debate and think of stuff right on the spot. That's for people like the Emilys and Sayoni and Labdhi. I just kinda go along with the flow, doing the bare minimum to get past, and JUST managing to keep alive in that class. And it takes away all my free time, with those position papers and speech preparing and Frankie Wong showing up in the middle of class to teach us how to Google. (Btw, that hasn't helped me at all. -__-) And it's just UGH.
And today's assembly was the best. (: I really love Tyler. I want to be his best friend. (: And then we can hang out together and he'll be able to tell me how to handle my life. He'd give me more advice than just "You'll get over it." And he'll be able to motivate me to do what I want to do. I wish Tyler and I knew each other. ):
Swim today was literally hell in water. I'm not even kidding. The sub made us do all these weird drills and kicking 283759 laps and pulling even more laps. -__- But I did get to know a few people better. (: And hopefully, I can be able to swim a little faster. Hopefully. (Probably not, though. I don't put much effort in. -___-)
I like the weather, though. (: It's starting to cool down a little. This unfortunately means we have to run miles again, but still. I like it. And it was drizzling at around eight, so hopefully that means those ninety-degree days are overrr. Hopefully.
High school isn't fun anymore. D: It's stressssful. I haven't had a single day where there wasn't a test or a quiz. And I have to worry about my MUN position paper every single freaking day. But my schedule's well-balanced, though. Second period I have Breik, where I can technically just sleep in. I'll just read the textbook or whatever. Then homeroom there's Brannen. Most of the time we just write, so it's not that bad. But she does give a lot of homework, especially over the weekend. Which is. Not very smart. Then Perry; pretty fun class. Pretty stressful class, too. So much information to digest every day. D: Then Oyama. She catches me if I sleep, so I can't do that. We play a lot of games, though. And we win candy. (: So that makes me happy. After lunch there's freaking Rosenberg to deal with. Turns out I have a B- in that class, so I can't slack AT ALL if I don't want an unsat. Ahha and yeah, trust me, I do NOT want one. -__- And then PE! The mile gets pretty harsh sometimes, but it's pretty relaxing after the mile's over. (:
So Cerritos conference next Saturday. And position paper due Wednesday. So I'll probably be pulling another all-nighter on Tuesday. Anybody have a spare pillow?
I really don't know why I took MUN in the first place. There's so much work for the conferences and all. All those position papers and researching. And we really have to learn the lessons on our own. He just gives us the assignments, and then gives us a test. And we never talk about the textbook at school. His lectures are all about the UN, so we have to rely on ourselves to pass the book-based test. I mean, I've done that before, but not without some talking about the lessons. This is just too hard. ): Do you guys get what I mean? I'm kind of out of it today, so I probably won't be making any sense.
I don't even know what I'm doing here. I have a pile of homework waiting to be finished, and here I am blogging. Ahha, what a freak. And Issac says MUN is FUN. Whatever, Isaac.
So Light the Night was yesterday. (: Pretty funnn. And it didn't even feel like two miles. Didn't even feel like one mile. I guess it's cause of the free juice and the free milkshake they gave us. (: But the walk was pretty touching, too. Like when we were making posters, there was this group of little kids writing 'we miss you mommy' on their poster. And I was like AWWWW. Don't take your loved ones for granted, guys.
I'll put up some pictures later. I'll upload some onto Facebook and Photobucket later too. (:

Impress me. Sing along to Bon Jovi and Muse with me. Watch Lion King until your eyes hurt. Laugh at all my jokes. Buy me striped clothing on my birthday! Learn to love my Mickey. (: Memorize my phone number, and memorize it RIGHT. Buy me CD albums for my birthday/Christmas/anything! Never tell me you want to watch me swim. Get me Vitamin Water when I'm stressed. (: Tell me your life story. I'll tell you mine.
