Sadies!

Before you start reading this, NO, I will not be asking anyone to Sadies. People get the image that once someone mentions Sadies, they're gonna ask someone. Or they're gonna get asked. Or they already asked. Or they already got asked. Or whatever. First thing that comes out of everyone's mouth is SADIES. Sadies here, Sadies there. I don't blame them either; I find myself doing that when conversation turns awkward. :]

So the only reason I updated was because I was at Catherine's house and she updated hers. And see, she made hers about a week ago. I made mine about two months ago. She has ten posts. I have seven. Shameful, I tell you. Shame. And while we're on the topic of her blog, go to her blog NOW and in that little poll?? See it?? Click on Jacob Black. Then tomorrow, return again and click Jacob Black again. Yeah?? (Cuz we all know Jake's the only one for Bella. He's actually a really sweet guy. And he's not friggin cold, like Edward. And he's human. And he can have a regular family with Bella. Go Team Jacob.)

I really haven't been on for a long time. I'm gonna go on other people's blogs and update myself. :]

You know what's a really good book?? "Arena", by Karen Hancock. It's one of those sci-fi stories, with that romantic sidestory. But heh, you know me. I just whizz right by the main story, and go right into those lovey-dovey scenes. Not explicit lovey-dovey. Just the innocent kind, you know, the parts where they realize they really do care for each other. I find myself smiling like a fool when I get to those scenes. And then, after I finish a really good book, I feel so empty, cause it's like I almost KNOW these characters. It took me about three days to move on from the Twilight series. Everywhere I looked, something reminded me of something in the book (mostly Jacob). Gosh. It was torture.

I really do need good book recommendations. I've really been ignoring the ones before, since the kind of book I really hate is those "people" books, the "regular-life-with-extra-drama" kind of stories. Get me?? The kind of books I really REALLY love is those adventure books with building romance. There's gotta be romance. Without that, there isn't really a drive in a story. But then again, that's only me. :]

Gung Hay Fat Choy. :]

I haven't posted for over a week. Sorray guys.

Chinese New Year!! This year, I got $130. Not bad. So today I went to this party at my dad's friend's place. And every year I like completely dreaded this day, 'cuz all the boys there were like.."exclusive". And I was just stuck on the couch reading Reader's Digest for about four and a half hours. BUT this year I was like "Hell with it, I'm not going to suffer again." So I walked into that little room and said hi. And wow. They had absolutely no problem with it. I became friends with everybody in about five minutes. And imagine, I took about an hour mustering up the courage to go in there and introduce myself. They really took me by surprise, those seven boys. I feel so close to them now. :] So for about an hour, we played MarioKarts and Mario Party. Then most of them went over to some guy's house to play Halo 3. And then the people left played Spoons and Poker and Blackjack and Texas Hold 'em. Then when they came back, we played Cat-and-Mouse. That was sorta awkward, cuz one of the guys hid in a shower and I had to hide with him. Four hours of pure fun and bonding. And one of the guys was pretty cute. But he was eleven, so I gave up immediately. Haha. What a Chinese New Year.

Winter Formal was Friday, and I went to help with registration. In case you guys didn't know, it was on that huge yacht, and it was so prettyyyyy. I didn't go on, though. One eighth grader amond 350 high schoolers?? No thank you.

I'm writing this at one in the morning. I'm so bad to my health. And body. And mind. :[ Somebody wanna go with me somewhere Sunday or Monday to hang out?? I need to get out of this dump. And I feel like spending my New Year's money. :D

gossip girl!!

Thursday, I watched Juno with Michele and Catherine. I love you guys. :] It was pretty good, but really awkward too. Like, that scene where Juno and Mark were dancing. I was freakin' shielding my eyes!! AWK-WARD. And their conversations were like. Ick. Even for me. And that's pretty darn ick. Like that conversation Juno was having with that clerk lady at the abortion center?? HILARIOUSSSS. But anyways, all in all, it was a pretty good movie. And Jennifer Garner was really pretty. And Bleeker and Juno look really cute together. :]

Friday was a bummer. I just stayed at home and did nothing. Played video games and watche half an episode of Gossip Girl.

Then today was like a Gossip Girl marathon for me. I watched four episodes!! And planning on more to come. :] You guys should seriously watch it. It's really drama-filled and really cute. But it's TV-14 for a reason. So leave little siblings out of it. And I accidentally stumbled on this website and IT TOLD ME WHO GOSSIP GIRL WAS. Now, my whole view of the show is CHANGED. And I freakin' hate that. @#$%&!

I got speakers for my computer!! Now my computer has sound, something it lacked for half a year. Saddd.
