So when it comes down to the truth, would you listen to your head? Or your heart? Which one is correct, really? Because think of it this way.
Your head is the logical one. It knows what's right. It knows that if you make one misstep, you're pretty screwed. And it knows you don't want to be screwed over. So it makes you do things you don't want to do, against your will, because it KNOWS it's the RIGHT thing. But is the right thing always something you want?
So that's where your heart comes in. It's pretty annoying, controlling all your emotions and basically controlling your life. And when people say 'emotional rollercoaster ride', you blame your heart. But don't lie. You know you like that rollercoaster ride. Just not the down parts. They're not enough to send you to rock bottom, but you scrape the bottom pretty close. But when it goes back up again..? You know you live for that.
But your heart really doesn't tell you what's the logical choice. It tells you to do whatever makes YOU happy, or the people around you happy. No logic involved. Just feeling. And feelings are pretty biased. So in the end, what's more important? Your feelings or the truth?
This is why life is all gray area. And all the lines are blurry. And nothing really ever makes sense. (:

Spring break is a bore when there's no one to talk to and nothing to do. -_- So you know what I do? I look through old diary entries and blog posts and AIM conversations. And I find them all immature and hilarious. Immature because we made such a big deal out of 'omg she's spreading rumors behind our backs' and 'wow she totally copied our idea for the project'. Hilarious because we made such a big deal out of it and turned an argument into a skirmish and that skirmish into a war. But it turns out, war really isn't that hilarious. (:
What I'm trying to say is, whatever happens now won't matter in a month, or two months, or half a year. We'll think back, and we'll laugh, and we'll wonder why we ever got into such silly arguments. (: Of course, we'll hug and cry and say we'll never do anything to hurt each other again, but we all know that never turns out so well. -_-

So when it comes down to the truth, would you listen to your head? Or your heart? Which one is correct, really? Because think of it this way.
Your head is the logical one. It knows what's right. It knows that if you make one misstep, you're pretty screwed. And it knows you don't want to be screwed over. So it makes you do things you don't want to do, against your will, because it KNOWS it's the RIGHT thing. But is the right thing always something you want?
So that's where your heart comes in. It's pretty annoying, controlling all your emotions and basically controlling your life. And when people say 'emotional rollercoaster ride', you blame your heart. But don't lie. You know you like that rollercoaster ride. Just not the down parts. They're not enough to send you to rock bottom, but you scrape the bottom pretty close. But when it goes back up again..? You know you live for that.
But your heart really doesn't tell you what's the logical choice. It tells you to do whatever makes YOU happy, or the people around you happy. No logic involved. Just feeling. And feelings are pretty biased. So in the end, what's more important? Your feelings or the truth?
This is why life is all gray area. And all the lines are blurry. And nothing really ever makes sense. (:
And you know the saying 'life doesn't give second chances'? That's a LIE. Life gives you so many second chances, you just don't know them. Because they're disguised as coincidences, or a stroke of good luck, or just pure miracle. But they're everywhere; learn to appreciate those chances. Spring break is a bore when there's no one to talk to and nothing to do. -_- So you know what I do? I look through old diary entries and blog posts and AIM conversations. And I find them all immature and hilarious. Immature because we made such a big deal out of 'omg she's spreading rumors behind our backs' and 'wow she totally copied our idea for the project'. Hilarious because we made such a big deal out of it and turned an argument into a skirmish and that skirmish into a war. But it turns out, war really isn't that hilarious. (:
What I'm trying to say is, whatever happens now won't matter in a month, or two months, or half a year. We'll think back, and we'll laugh, and we'll wonder why we ever got into such silly arguments. (: Of course, we'll hug and cry and say we'll never do anything to hurt each other again, but we all know that never turns out so well. -_-
So why do something you'll regret? If something bothers you, let it bother you. Then let it go. Don't let it cling to you like some nasty disease you want to show off to everyone. Not to mention spread to everyone. -_- Vent it out, and let it go. And avoid it.
